Tourist Destinations and Attraction

A tourist attraction is a place of interest where tourists visit, typically for its inherent or exhibited cultural value, historical significance, natural or built beauty, or amusement opportunities.

Some examples include historical places, monuments, zoos, aquaria, museums and art galleries, botanical gardens, buildings and structures (e.g., castles, libraries, former prisons, skyscrapers, bridges), national parks and forests, theme parks and carnivals, living history museums, ethnic enclave communities, historic trains and cultural events. Many tourist attractions are also landmarks.

upcoming movie 2012

They'll be back! We already know that Nu Image / Millennium Films and Lionsgate have already put The Expendables 2 into production, but it hasn't started shooting and isn't due out until 2012, so we haven't seen much from it yet. Browsing through the daily magazines in Cannes today I caught this new promotional teaser poster for the sequel, which plays off of the metallic skull design seen on the teaser artwork for the first Expendables movie, which was also found in Cannes just last year. It's just an early look and isn't much besides an updated design, but I thought this was worth sharing with everyone. Check out the poster below!

It was recently announced by Lionsgate that The Expendables 2 would be hitting theaters on August 17th, 2012 next summer, so we already know it's coming up. While Sylvester Stallone will be appearing as Barney Ross in the film again, he will not be directing it, like the first one. The screenplay is being written by David Agosto & Ken Kaufman, though a replacement director has not yet been announced (I expect that's not far off). We also expect to see Bruce Willis back in a bigger role, along with the rest of the team: Jason Statham, Jet Li, Dolph Lundgren, Steve Austin, Terry Crews and Randy Couture.

The movie will take us back into the world of spy kids and the OSS, however a lot has changed.  For instance, the spy kid division has been closed down, but don’t fear for your favourite mini spies, because they’re all grown up.  Alexa Vega and Daryl Sabara will be returning as Carmen and Juni Cortez, respectively, Antonio Banderas will also be making an appearance.  Don’t be fooled by the return of some original cast members, this is a new beginning for the series which means new main characters.
Rebecca and Cecil are twins, played by Rowan Blanchard and Mason Cook respectively, who don’t get along with their stepmother Marissa Cortez Wilson, portrayed by Jessica Alba.  Unbeknownst to them, and their spy hunting reporter father, Marissa is an ex-spy.  One day Marissa is called out of retirement to save the world from the evil Timekeeper.  She soon learns that there are some jobs that are meant for kids, as she must join forces with Rebecca and Cecil in order to be triumphant.  They also enlist Carmen and Juni for support.
No trailer, or even poster, has been released yet, but it’s not hard to imagine what the return of the franchise will look like.  Robert Rodriguez, who directed the original three films, has returned to direct this one.  At this early stage it’s hard to judge, but I’m confident that this franchise is in good hands.  The movie is set to be released on the 19th of August.
